Anti War

Two of the seven core principles of conservatism as developed by Speaker Mike Johnson are Peace Through Strength and Human Dignity. Both principles strike to the heart of the conservative anti war movement. The movement is not just a rebuke of failed modern foreign policies, but a return to the foundation of conservatism.

Accountability

Peace Through Strength has been eroded by the adventurism of tinkering with sovereign nation states. American might has been spread thin chasing the tail created by the last failed bureaucratic endeavor in a perpetual negative cycle.

Consolidation

Currently we have allowed our military men and women to become targets of proxy pot shots as they control areas and regions where their mission is unclear and unwanted. Regrouping and consolidating is not withdrawal into isolation. Instead this movement would be the precursor to renewed strength. Consolidation of might would invite an element of flexibility and an open door to diplomacy.

A New Era

Strength through peace is another way to look at this mural. As consolidation allows time to heal (fortify), it also shows good faith for renewed sovereign understanding. Without taking steps to acknowledge the failed policies of adventurism in foreign lands where the American people had no significant enemy, we cannot usher in a new era of global peace and dignity.

Respect

Human Dignity is the underpinning of this peaceful turn. “Because all men are created equal and in the image of God, every human life has inestimable dignity and value.” – Mike Johnson. Only an America that values all human dignity, can lead the world to peaceful resolution.

Safeguard the Future

A return to respectful sovereignty of the individual and the nation state will be a return of American exceptionalism and leadership on a global stage. This renewed respect of sovereignty will be cherished and returned in kind. And the strength of the American military might will always be the safeguard for the citizens of the United States.
